Inspired by the Fram Strait - the Arctic passage between Greenland and Svalbard where vast quantities of sea ice and ocean water move between the Arctic Ocean and the seas beyond - the Fram Strait Laptop Sleeve translates the quiet, continuous movement of the High Arctic into rhythm, texture, and shifting shades of blue.

Crafted entirely from repurposed denim, the surface is defined by rows of precise pintucks running in parallel across the sleeve. Moving from deep indigo through glacial blues and back into darker tones, the changing bands reflect the streams of water and drifting sea ice that travel through the Strait - sometimes gathering together, sometimes separating, but always moving.

Unlike the turbulence of the Drake Passage, the inspiration here is more rhythmic and directional. The repeated pintucks create subtle ridges and channels across the denim, echoing the long pathways carved by currents, wind, and migrating ice through this narrow Arctic gateway.
